Trust is built by showing the limits, too.
A clear account of what is verified, what is planned, and what this prototype does not claim.
This page sets the transparency standard for Sinkers and states the current limits of this website. No smart-contract audit, security certification, live security scanner, deployed $ALERT address, or treasury disclosure has been provided or verified. The product should not imply otherwise through badges, logos, or confident wording.
Say exactly what has been checked
A product can be transparent before every feature is ready. The current build is a Next.js website prototype with static educational content, an illustrative dashboard, and a local simulator. It does not connect to a database, RPC provider, event indexer, exchange, or wallet service.
No audit or certification is claimed. No token contract, allocation, public treasury, or exchange listing is verified in this project. Those details should appear only when the underlying evidence is available and can be independently checked.
Verification, review, and audit are different
Source verification lets a user compare published source code to deployed bytecode. A code review is an analysis of implementation behavior, while an audit is a structured independent security assessment with a defined scope. None of these terms should be used interchangeably.
If a token or protocol contract is introduced, disclosures should include address, chain, source, deployment transaction, current roles, and upgrade controls. A report should state its date and scope so users know what was and was not reviewed.
Expose control surfaces and allocation evidence
Ownership, minting, pause, blacklist, fee, and upgrade privileges can materially affect token behavior. A public report should distinguish active privileges from historical events and identify the address or role that controls them.
Treasury and allocation claims should link to public addresses and an explanation of custody and authority. No treasury wallet or allocation is published in this build. If those details become available, they should be reviewed and kept current.
Read-only research should stay read-only
Browsing public pages does not require a wallet connection. This prototype does not ask for a signature, request token approvals, or collect wallet addresses. A future account feature should document what data is stored, why it is needed, and how users can delete it.
Never share a seed phrase or private key with a website. Wallet software should show the exact message or transaction before a user signs. A signature request should never be introduced simply to unlock ordinary public information.
Monitoring is not a security guarantee
Blockchain data can be incomplete, delayed, misclassified, or interpreted incorrectly. Contract scanners may miss proxy behavior, external dependencies, key compromise, or economic risks. Liquidity can disappear, holders can move assets, and public labels can become stale.
Sinkers is not a custodian, exchange, broker, or financial adviser. Alerts and risk observations are informational and may be wrong. Always verify important events against independent sources and use your own judgment.
Report issues with useful evidence
A future responsible-disclosure process should publish a verified contact route, explain what scope is authorized, and provide a way to share findings safely. No security contact address has been established for this build, so none is fabricated.
For current product and data status, see Technology, and for proposed token disclosures, see $ALERT Token. The Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Risk Disclosure provide additional context.
Good questions deserve clear answers.
